Each year, Variety hosts its annual Anniversary Gala at the Omni William Penn Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh to raise money to support Camp Variety for Kids and other children’s programs. Last year, Variety celebrated its 82nd Anniversary Gala with an Italian themed “Bella Notte Italia…When in Bloomfield” dinner, dance and silent auction.
Each year at its annual Anniversary Gala, Variety honors an individual for his or her dedication and commitment to creating awareness of people with disabilities and helping children in crisis through philanthropic work, social reform and personal efforts and activities. At our 82nd Anniversary celebration “Bella Notte Italia . . . When in Bloomfield,” Variety presented its 8th Annual Catherine Variety Sheridan Humanitarian Award to Ralph J. Papa, Chairman of Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania, for his commitment and dedication to his community and those organizations and agencies supporting underserved children and children with disabilities. In addition, Variety presented our 8th Annual John H. Harris Award to the Hill House Association for their dedication to helping children at risk.
Tables of ten sell for $3,000. Tickets are $300 per person.
