madsgascar pin The Gold Heart Pin Campaign is one of Variety Pittsburgh’s signature fund raising promotions in partnership with a different motion picture studio every year. Variety International develops a commemorative pin that is sold in theaters and other retail locations from November through March. The money generated through the sale of Gold Heart Pins supports programs and services for kids with mental and physical disabilities in southwestern Pennsylvania. By promoting Gold Heart Pins, Variety partners help support the kids living in their communities.

Variety has teamed up with Walt Disney Motion Picture Studios for the 2009-2010 Gold Heart Campaign and is pleased to announce that the star of this year’s campaign will be….Kermit the Frog! Gold Heart Pins sell for $2.00.

Variety’s annual Gold Heart Pin Campaign is an easy way to raise monies for local schools, churches or other organizations while at the same time helping kids with disabilities in our local communities. Proceeds from Gold Heart Pin sales will be split between your organization and Variety the Children’s Charity. Marketing materials are readily available.

Most importantly, funds raised by retailers, businesses and theaters in our community, remain in our community to address the needs of children who live here.
